Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Mobile Money Operator (MMO) business into its next phase of growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience in the fintech or financial services sector, with a proven track record of driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

As CEO, you will be responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining a culture of innovation, integrity, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and set the vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

• Drive growth in mobile money services, product innovation, and market expansion.

• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency across all business units.

• Lead stakeholder engagement, including regulators, investors, and strategic partners.

• Build and maintain a high-performance leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements.

• Champion digital transformation and adoption of emerging fintech trends.

• Represent the company at industry events, policy discussions, and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc./HND in a relevant field + MBA required. Professional certifications in leadership, strategy, or fintech are an added advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in fintech, banking, or financial services, with at least 7 years in executive management.

• Age: 40 years & above.

• Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong strategic leadership and decision-making ability.

  • Proven success in scaling financial/fintech operations.

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

  • Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in fintech.

  • Project management expertise (PMP certification preferred).
