Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations and treasury management of our Mobile Money Operator (MMO). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, and treasury, with a strong track record in fintech, telecom, or financial services.

As CFO, you will be responsible for driving the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enabling sustainable growth through effective capital and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.

• Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Manage treasury functions, investments, and liquidity to ensure business stability.

• Lead risk management and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and growth opportunities.

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team with a culture of accountability and excellence.

• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust.

• Monitor and report on financial KPIs to guide business decisions.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc./HND in Finance, Accounting, or related field + MBA required.

• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance and treasury management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Age: 40 years & above.

• Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.

  • Proven treasury and liquidity management expertise.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desired Certifications

• ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria)

• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
