Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee our financial planning, reporting, and control functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in finance and accounting, with professional certifications such as ICAN or ACCA. You will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement policies to strengthen financial governance and risk management.
Supervise and mentor finance team members to drive efficiency and professional growth.
Experience & Requirements
Education: B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Professional Certification: ACA required, with ICAN or ACCA membership.
Experience: 7–10 years of proven experience in finance and accounting, preferably within financial services or fintech.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
