Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Forex Operations Officer to support the management of foreign exchange transactions and treasury operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and reconciling FX deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting smooth treasury operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge of FX processes, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and process foreign exchange (FX) transactions in line with company policies.

• Monitor and reconcile FX positions, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

• Support treasury operations by managing cash flows and ensuring adequate liquidity.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, anti-money laundering (AML), and internal controls.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly FX and treasury reports for management and regulators.

• Collaborate with banks, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to resolve FX-related issues.

• Monitor FX market trends and provide insights to support trading and risk management strategies.

• Assist with audits and provide documentation on FX and treasury activities.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc./HND/ND/NCE in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in FX and treasury operations.

• Age: 20 years and above.

• Certification: FX & Treasury Operations Certification required.

• Strong knowledge of FX operations, treasury systems, and regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

• High integrity, accuracy, and ability to work with confidential financial data.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
