Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our Mobile Money Operator (MMO). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, process improvement, and leadership within fintech, telecom, or financial services.

As Operations Manager, you will ensure operational efficiency, manage cross-functional processes, and support business growth through effective execution of strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficiency and service excellence.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.

  • Collaborate with leadership to align operations with business objectives.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational performance.

  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure service quality.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all operations.

  • Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

  • Drive Lean Six Sigma and project management best practices across operations.

Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc./HND in a relevant field + MBA required. Professional certifications preferred.

  • Experience: 7–10 years in operations management, with proven leadership experience.

  • Age: 30 years & above.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong operational management and process improvement expertise.

    • Proficiency in project management and Lean methodologies.

    • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Ability to manage teams and foster collaboration across functions.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
