Treasury/Remittance Officer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Treasury/Remittance Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee treasury functions, manage remittance operations, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements. This role is key to maintaining liquidity, supporting financial transactions, and safeguarding the company’s treasury operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash flow management and liquidity monitoring.

  • Execute local and international remittance transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Reconcile treasury and remittance accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and company standards.

  • Liaise with banks, payment providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve transaction issues.

  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support treasury risk management initiatives.

  • Prepare treasury and remittance reports for management and regulatory purposes.

  • Support audits and examinations by providing accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc./HND/ND/NCE in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on experience in treasury or remittance operations.

  • Certification: ACI Dealing Certificate is required.

  • Age: 30 years and above.

  • Strong knowledge of treasury systems, remittance processes, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
